PADI IDC in the Mediterranean - Jan's Experience

Jan receives his IDC Certificate of Completion.

I completed my IDC at the Cyprus Diving Center in July 2025.

Initially, I was a bit unsure if I was ready for the IDC so soon after finishing my Divemaster in May. However, after just the first day, I was completely thrilled, and all my doubts vanished.

The team, including my two fellow students Angi and Joel, as well as Chris (our Course Director) and Dani (Staff Instructor), was absolutely perfect. Not only were we able to do the IDC course in German, but we also never lost the sense of fun amidst all the theory.

Having completed my Divemaster course at the Cyprus Diving Center beforehand, I felt very well-prepared for the IDC. My skills and theory were at the level needed for the course.

Finally, I want to thank the entire team at the Cyprus Diving Center for their support, especially Daniel and Chris for the incredibly instructive and exciting course—and of course, my fellow students Angi and Joel for the great time.
