Review - PADI IDC Cyprus - Joel Keller

I completed my IDC at Cyprus Diving Centre in July 2025, just two months after finishing my Divemaster course in May. Initially, I had some doubts. I felt like I didn't have enough experience, and the IDC was coming up so quickly. But as I got into the studying and the course itself, I realized it was actually a huge advantage to do it right away.

My dive theory and skills were still fresh in my mind, which helped me immensely. The entire two-week course was incredibly demanding, but it was just as educational. It was a fantastic experience that I wouldn't trade for anything.

Together with my two partners, Angie and Jan, and our Course Director Chris and Staff Instructor Daniel, we formed a fantastic team. Our days were packed with training, but we always made time for fun and a cold beer after work. All three of us passed the IE with flying colors, and we can now proudly call ourselves PADI Instructors.

A huge thank you to the entire Cyprus Diving Centre team for supporting us during this time, and especially to Chris and Daniel for the outstanding preparation for our IE! It was an unforgettable and incredible time!
